We host castle weddings all the time at Belle Isle and the season is now well and truly under way with couples planning their 2018, 2019 and even 2020 weddings.   We recently had the pleasure of hosting a couple that have started their journey of togetherness as they got engaged at Belle Isle.

Arriving to their cottage, the couple had booked a  Belle Isle boat in order to do some off shore exploring of the lake.  There was an alterior motive to this plan as the groom wanted to pop the question to his bride with the very scenic backdrop of Lough Erne and Belle Isle Castle in tow.

Once back on shore, a surprised and happy bride came to our office where she showed off her beautiful solitaire ring.  Her groom followed suit and I must admit whilst he was grinning from ear to ear there was also hint of relief in his expression!

Congratulations to all you couples who have recently tied the knot.  Perhaps another Belle-Isle wedding is on the cards?
