We celebrated our wedding with a weekend at Belle Isle and cannot say enough good things! Amy and the team made the planning so straightforward, and they did an exceptional job executing our vision for the weekend. We came in with high expectations, and Belle Isle exceeded them in every way possible. We can't wait to come back to celebrate a future anniversary!

Stayed in Bridge Cottage. Decor was in need of a spruce up with peeling paint and some mildew in the corners but everything was functional for our out stay. Living room furniture was definitely on the functional side of comfy.

We had our wedding here and would 100% recommend. It was absolutely beautiful both outside and in. The castle is stunning and the scenery is beautiful. We booked the castle for us and our guests for 2 nights and it was fantastic value for money.

We got to stay here for a friend's wedding and this property is incredible! There are a lot of options for activities. Make sure to book those in ahead of time. Make sure to walk up to the Walled garden and say hi to Cosmo and Ollie the resident donkeys

We had a lovely stay. However we had no hot water during our 2 day stay. We spoke to reception and the girl “reset it” but still no hot water. Don’t think this is very acceptable.The main oven didn’t work.Some of the doors especially the living area door didn’t shut tight and this made things difficult with 2 dogs.

We honestly could not have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding weekend. From start to finish, the entire team at Belle Isle went above and beyond in every possible way to make the experience so special for us and for all of our guests.Every detail was handled with such care, professionalism, warmth, and attention, and throughout the whole process we felt completely supported and looked after. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the team consistently went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we could fully relax and enjoy the weekend.Belle Isle itself was absolutely stunning, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the people. Every member of staff we dealt with was kind, welcoming, calm, and genuinely invested in making our wedding unforgettable. So many of our guests commented on how incredible the team were and how comfortable and cared for they felt all weekend. A particular shoutout has to go out to Amy, who was honestly there every single step of the way and was a huge reason we booked Belle Isle in the first place. We knew as soon as we met her and got a tour, that we couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. Amy was there every single step of the way, and honestly she and the whole team felt so much part of our day.I have spoken to a lot of couples about their experience wedding planning, and honestly most of the time we can’t relate because so much of the stress of wedding planning was taken care of by the team at Belle Isle. Trust them and their recommended vendors - they won’t steer you wrong!!It is hard to put into words how grateful we are for everything that was done for us. Our wedding weekend exceeded anything we could have imagined, and so much of that is thanks to the amazing team at Belle Isle.We honestly can’t recommend Belle Isle enough, we haven’t stopped thinking about our incredible weekend and wouldn’t change a single thing. I wish we could do it all over again, but instead we will be visiting Belle Isle every year to celebrate our anniversary and remember the most incredible weekend of our lives.

This was our third stay in Ash at Belle Isle and it didn’t disappoint. We had a great quiet relaxing stay with wonderful weather. Since our first stay there has been so many improvements to the surrounding grounds. As we drove in we were greeted with the picturesque view of the famous Stairway to heaven in the distance.As we took it in it was over looking the just as, if not more, aesthetically beautiful Belle Isle Castle.And it was giving way to a most eye-catching view over the lake below.The scenery was unmatched.The cleanliness of our cottage added to the already calming entrance and relaxing atmosphere.The tranquility and the sound of nature on the walks was beyond peaceful it was a mini paradise of retreat from the outside world.A truly amazing Location for individuals and groups to enjoy a break and peace in nature and with history.Incorporated the modern and ancient ways and scenes so subtly that it is perfect for all ages and walks of life.The staff and management were beyond a joy. The manner in how they spoke and made our time feel as valued and as important as the next customer. A down to earth professionalism that is so welcoming and rare. Gregarious management that know how to deal with people and respect our visit.No doubt we will be back and cannot rate highly enough.The walks staff and scenery is refreshing and just what is needed to enjoy a peaceful vacation.

My wife and I came from the USA to get married here in April of 2026! Amy and the entire team there at Belle Isle was amazing, friendly, and the whole experience was like something out of a dream.We rented the entire castle for a 4 night stay to accommodate ourselves and our guests, along with a few of the cottages and coach houses at the estate.The grounds were incredible, the views were amazing, and the rooms were comfortable - we didn't hear any complaints from the 38 total people who stayed there at the estate.Amy was our coordinator there at Belle Isle, and she was marvelous to work with. She was organized, and on the day of the wedding everything went incredibly smoothly.My wife and I are already trying to figure out how to get back to Belle Isle for a reunion with some of our wedding guests, or for just a long weekend in Ireland.Thank you Amy and the whole team at Belle Isle for making our wedding an amazing, fairytale experience! If you're reading this review, go ahead and book that cottage, or the whole castle for that matter, you'll not regret it!

We booked Belle Isle Castle for a 30th birthday celebration and had exclusive use of the entire castle—an experience we’ll never forget. From start to finish, Emma was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and made the whole process feel effortless.The venue itself is truly magical. Every room is beautifully designed with stunning attention to detail, creating a unique and luxurious atmosphere throughout. The service…… was impeccable, and the food was exceptional—everything exceeded our expectations.Emma ensured everything ran seamlessly from planning right through to the event itself, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the celebration. We couldn’t recommend Belle Isle Castle highly enough for a special occasion.

We had a party of 14 friends and family stay in 3 of the Courtyard apartments over my birthday weekend and had an amazing time. The accommodation is excellent, fully equipped and high standard of furniture and bedding towels etc. Having a wood burning stove and logs available was also a lovely extra. The staff are so friendly on arrival and the whole booking process is so easy along the way. The grounds are really beautiful for a walk and the kids loved going to see the donkeys!We all couldn’t recommend it highly enough for a stay and we will be back!

I recently hosted my 60th birthday celebration over two days at Belle Isle Estate & Castle, and the entire experience was simply perfection. We had family and friends travel from all over the world to join us, and it could not have been more special.The castle and grounds are absolutely breathtaking, far exceeding anything you see in photos. Working with the team—Amy, Emma, and John—was an absolute pleasure. As we live in Australia, there was a lot involved in organising everything from so far away, but nothing was ever too much trouble. They were incredibly helpful, kind, and generous with their guidance and advice throughout the entire process.The team also provided wonderful recommendations, including the fireworks and the caterers, Sadlers, a fantastic local eatery who created amazing menus across both days. A very special thank you to Albert Gauley, our drone and video producer, who did an outstanding job capturing the event.We created so many unforgettable memories, and the entire celebration was truly perfect. Thank you to everyone at Belle Isle for your hard work, care, and dedication in making our family gathering so incredibly special.

Beautiful location. Stayed in Coach House 1 which was lovely, very spacious, and had everything we needed. Had two dogs with us, so it was lovely to go out for a walk with them, especially as we had great Autumn weather.Would recommend and definitely go back again.

Very enjoyable short trip of relaxing beside open waters of Lough Erne. Staff super relaxed and friendly. Bedrooms and bathroom super clean and comfortable. Slight problem with lighting in kitchen sorted by electrician on call within 30 minutes. Wifi good. Kitchen well provisioned for self catering at all levels. A fantastic quiet riverside location facing into sunsets , even in mid Winter November. Lounge pretty uncomfortable wicker seating with cushions, unfortunately leaving me with a pain in lower back for couple of days. Other than that all perfect. Also dog friendly which is a major plus.

Belle Isle Estate offers unique and beautiful landscapes, rooms that each have a personality and style of their own, and a team of people who are so dedicated to having your event and stay be perfect.Amy and Emma truly were a dream to work with. From the virtual tour, to planning multiple surprise vendors, and even helping the bride with her dress’s train. They covered everything! They truly made our day so special and will always be remembered as one of the best days of our lives.Our guests loved it so much they want us to get married again lolWe hope to be back to visit for a 5 year anniversary. We had a fabulous four nights at Ash Cottage and our 13 year old fur babies enjoyed it even more. The cottage was very well equipped and we look forward to returning in January to make use of the wood burning stove. The staff were excellent particularly Emma who went out of her way to help. we look forward to returning.And we did return in January, 24 and had another excellent four night stay, only this time using the cosy wood burning stove with all the firewood and other essentials provided. The cottage is, as we now know, extremely comfortable whatever the season. As usual the staff were excellent. It was a pleasure to meet up again with Emma and to meet Amy who, I am certain, will be a great addition to the Belle Isle team.And we came back yet again in Nov 2025! Another excellent four night stay and lovely to see Emma and Amy again. This time of year gave us an excuse to light the woodburning stove and settle in for the evening with a nice bottle of wine and some good food. We love the peaceful surroundings and the excellent facilities provided at Belle Isle and look forward to returning in the not too distant future. We enjoyed our stay at Belle Isle very much. We attended a wedding at the castle and stayed at both the cottages (one night) and inside the castle. We found the cottages to be warmer and offering more amenities than the rooms in the castle. We enjoyed both the wood burning fireplace and the mini-kitchen inside our cottage and found both of these expected amenities missing in our room inside the castle. Our castle room was rather chilly and damp and centralized heating was not available until 6 in the evening, making our castle mornings chilly. Emma was a great manager and was able to answer our questions and assist us in calling for taxi cabs to be taking us into town.

Imagine a wedding of your dreams in Ireland... Without a doubt, your dreams can come true by going to Bell Isle Estates, Castles and Cottage. From the flowers to the food, nothing was left to make this wedding incredible. Special thanks to Amy for overseeing the extravaganza. In the future, this American will be back just to enjoy the beauty of this castle. As a side note, do not worry about the distance between America and Ireland and the organization of a wedding. It's super easy with the staff.

We had the most wonderful stay in the cottages in the days leading up to our wedding at Belle Isle. We couldn’t ask for a more clean, cozy and comfortable cottage. Emma, our wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing and super attentive for any needs during our stay. She is the best of the best!! John, the general manager, was also so wonderful to us and we couldn’t be more grateful for the wonderful staff throughout our stay. Our guests were super impressed (as were we) with the castle rooms and accommodations. Everything was absolutely perfect and we can’t think the Belle Isle team enough for making our wedding weekend, and the days leading up, an absolute dream!!

Take me back to Belle Isle!!!Not only is is an absolutely stunning estate, but the staff is incredible! I was there to photograph a full wedding weekend this past June & not only did my team have an exceptional experience, but so did our couple & all of their guests.
