For those who prefer to stay closer to home, there is no shortage of activities on the estate itself. You can embark on a peaceful fishing adventure in one of our pike fishing boats, where you can enjoy the tranquility of the water surrounded by stunning views. If you prefer land-based activities, we have two designated walking trails that wind through the estate’s lush grounds, offering both short and longer routes for exploring.
Take advantage of the estate’s lakeside location by boating on Lough Erne and exploring the nearby islands. Or, for a bit more excitement, we can arrange a selection of activities such as kayaking along the lough or participate in a thrilling archery session in our designated area.
For a more leisurely experience, you can also explore the grounds on horseback with our horse riding options, where you can ride through the scenic woodlands and enjoy panoramic views of the estate and surrounding areas.
Whether you are enjoying a family break and want to add some fun-filled excitement with body zorbing, or you are planning a special occasion and want the thrill of a murder mystery. Whether you are arranging a corporate event and want to add team-building sessions such as clay-pigeon shooting, or you are with friends and want to enjoy time at a more leisurely pace.

With such an abundance of activities both on and off the estate, Belle Isle Estate offers the perfect base for discovering all that County Fermanagh has to offer. From tranquil lakeside moments to thrilling outdoor adventures, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
We have 4 pike fishing boats. You can fish on your own or one of our local and knowledgeable guides will accompany you. We will assist you with acquiring a fishing licence. If you have your own boat, we have mooring spots and can arrange storage.
Walk the 2 designated trails through our magical Black Bog Wood, around the green fields, and up over the rolling hill taking a break by the water’s edge.
Take one of our boats out on the lake and tour the surrounding islands that make up our 470 acre estate. Boats are available to hire from mid-March until the end of October and contact to the office should be made at least 24 hours in advance. We also offer storage and mooring options.
Learn a new skill or sharpen your aim while having fun with your friends and family. For groups of 8 or more.
We can organise horseback riding with The Forest Stables in Fivemiletown, an approved riding school and trekking centre.
Meander around the three National Trust properties in County Fermanagh: Castle Coole, Florence Court and Crom Estate, which boasts 2000 acre grounds featuring the Old Castle ruins and vast woodland. These stunning properties often have seasonal events on.
The Marble Arch Caves tour will take you down into the natural underground rivers, waterfalls and chambers. You will get the chance to see a variety of cave formations as well as stalactites and stalagmites.
Belleek Pottery is one of Ireland’s most famous exports and it hails from Co Fermanagh. With fantastic tours of the pottery visitor centre, and exclusive private tours on offer, there is something for everyone.
Only 10 minutes away Fermanagh Fun Farm is a special place where your children get a chance to interact with and fall in love with animals in an educational way.
Enniskillen Castle was built around 600 years ago by the ruling Gaelic Maguires and provides a key to Irish history from Medieval Stronghold to Plantation Castle to later Military Barracks. The Iniskillings Museum is based in the same grounds.
We can organise a fantastic day out on the water touring among the islands including Devenish with Erne Tours or Erne Water Taxi. You could also have a private hire, and guided tour with Erne Water Taxi. Or, hire out your very own Little Red Boat. This is subject to availability and times.
You can tour this local distillery on the banks of Lough Erne and visit their tasting room. Public tours are available on regular basis and it is suggested you book well in advance. For a more private experience, the Boatyard Distillery does offer group tours.
The Cuilcagh Mountain Boardwalk meanders through one of the largest expanses of blanket bog in Northern Ireland, traversing over tracks, boardwalk and staircase. Nicknamed, Stairway to Heaven Trail, this walk is part of the Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark.
Belle Isle Castle can be booked for groups of up to 27 guests sharing. Thirteen individually styled rooms offer guests a very unique stay.
