Check in is available from 3 pm on the day of arrival and a checkout is 10 am on the day of departure. Early check-in/late checkout available by strict appointment with the Accommodation Manager only.
Belle Isle offers accommodation on a seasonal basis, being high season, mid season and low season. Dates of each season in 2021 are as follows:
All accommodation prices include VAT at 20% or whatever the prevailing rate of VAT is at the point of booking.
Courtyard & Cottages:
In order to secure your booking we require valid payment card details. Upon receipt of your booking email confirmation will follow. Bookings made through an online booking system are provisional until confirmed by us. The balance is automatically charged on the day of arrival or by other prior arrangement with the Accommodation Manager. Guests are requested to behave in a respectful manner in consideration of other guests and to keep their properties clean and tidy at all times.
Free cancellation up until 3 days prior to arrival. If cancelled within 72 hours prior to arrival or in the event of a no show a cancellation charge of the first night’s accommodation will apply.
7.1 For a castle booking, a non-refundable deposit of £1000.00 is required.
7.2 For additional accommodation to be reserved on the estate a £1000 deposit is also required.
7.3 If you cancel your booking with us in its entirety, we will levy the following cancellation charges:
7.3.1 Cancellation on 91 days or more prior to the Event: loss of initial deposit of £1000.00. for the Castle and additional accommodation if applicable.
7.3.2 Cancellation on or between 61 and 90 days’ prior to your arrival: 50% of total booking value.
7.3.3 Cancellation on or between 31 and 60 days prior to your arrival: 75% of total booking value.
7.3.4 Cancellation 30 days or less prior to your arrival: 100 % of total booking value.
7.3.5 If additional accommodation is reserved and confirmed 90 days from the date of your event, any cancellations amounts are taken from the £1000 deposit paid to secure the additional accommodation. In the event of no cancellations the £1000 deposit paid is transferred to the main Castle account.
7.4 All prices are inclusive of service and VAT. However should the rate of VAT change between the time of booking and the Event, we reserve the right to adjust the prices in line with such change.
1.5 We reserve the right in our discretion to charge interest on any account outstanding entirely or in part at the rate of 4% above the base rate for the time being of The Danske Bank. This interest shall accrue on a daily basis from the due date until the date of actual payment of the overdue amount, whether before or after judgment. You must pay us interest together with any overdue amount.
The cost of your stay includes all heating and lighting, bed linen and towels.
A cleaning service can be provided at extra costs. Pets are allowed, however guests are required to keep pets under control at all times due to the fact that Belle Isle is a working Estate with livestock and game within close vicinity at all times.
The cost of any damage caused will be charged to the guest once the cost of the damage has been quantified.
In relation to Belle Isle Castle, a damage deposit of £500 will also be taken in addition to the deposit of £500 which is required to secure your booking. Only in the case where damage has been sustained will the damage deposit be retained, and in all cases only the value of the damage will be excluded from the deposit. Where the damage exceeds £500 the client will be responsible for meeting the balance in full.
Where accommodation is taken in relation to a wedding, the wedding party will be required to sign a separate Wedding Contract. However, all Terms and Conditions pertaining to accommodation as set out in this document will still apply to all guests staying across all accommodation.
