To be honest I am clueless about golf but my partner has golf clubs in tow any chance he can get and likes nothing better than a golf break.  It got me thinking though,  what does my golfing husband really enjoy about golf?  Is it the time with his friends, the exercise, the challenge, the progress he can see in his game from one round to the next.    I suspect its all of the above and more.

At Belle Isle we have been hosting golfing groups in the castle and our self catering apartments for a number of year.  We have more recently added several golf clubs to our golfing providers list which means that if you decide to stay and play golf from Belle Isle, it is entirely possible to enjoy a golf break featuring at least 4 courses.
