Holiday cottages are a great solution to the family holiday no matter how old your kids are.  We have had a busy summer with families of all ages and stages staying with us.  What seems to be more and more apparent is that parents just want to get their kids off their screens and into the great outdoors.

This year we’ve added a few new activities for our guests, Giant Jenga, Over Sized Dominoes and Skittles.  All can be played outdoors as well as indoors.  Its funny because we’ve had some families get really involved creating their very own family competitions.

The thing is, we know that families are more connected in lots of ways at Belle Isle, they connect with each other, they connect with nature and they develop a strong connection with Belle Isle. So much so that many of our guests tend to return.
