Walking Holidays at Belle Isle

Belle Isle Walking Holidays

We have so many walks close by to Belle Isle so for those whose idea of the perfect holiday involves the great outdoors.

Cuilcagh Mountain Board Walk has become the most iconic walk in Fermanagh.  Taking approximately 3.5 hours this walk is quite demanding and requires appropriate walking footwear.  Climb the 500 steps to the summit and enjoy some truly breathtaking views.

Florence Court Estate is a national Trust property and a great place for all ages to enjoy a leisurely stroll or brisk afternoon walk.  Choose from the numerous trails but whichever one you take you are bound to enjoy the scenery and majestic views of Florence Court House.

Castle Caldwell is a 4km lake side walk just 10 mins drive from the famous Belleek Pottery and the place where the story of the pottery really begins.  A secret kept by the locals as a shaded circular walk you may be able to feed ducks along the way.

Magho Point – Lough Navar A wonderful trail that scales the face of Magho Mountain, when you get to the top, if you are breathless, take your time as your breath will be taken away but the view of Lough Erne.  A sunset walk for something a little bit different is recommended.

Belmore Forest is one of those places where you are likely to not meet a single soul on your walk.  Short or longer walks can be enjoyed and when you have finished why not take a quick visit to one of the Game of Thrones locations locally known as Pollnagollum Cave.

5 days 5 walks and more of all 5 places to enjoy the great out doors.  So why not book your accommodation at Belle Isle Estate Self Catering and get those walking boots ready.
